Dr. Block will once again be a keynote speaker at the Colon Cancer Alliance's (CCA) Annual Colorectal Cancer Conference, educating the audience about the role of integrative medicine in the treatment of colon cancer.  This year's forum will be held from September 15-17, 2006, at the Hyatt Lodge at McDonald's Campus, in Oakbrook, Illinois. This event is intended for people newly diagnosed with colorectal cancer or dealing with advanced disease, long-term survivors, caregivers and friends. Nurses and other healthcare professionals are also encouraged to attend. The CCA is an alliance of colon and rectal cancer survivors, their families, caregivers, people with a genetic predisposition to colorectal cancer, and members of the medical community. CCA is the official patient support partner of the National Colorectal Cancer Research Alliance (NCCRA), co-founded by Katie Couric.
